The al pastor taco had chili de arbor y pineapple marinated Duroc pork, poblano radish slaw, and cotija cheese. She enjoyed the al pastor the most, which is one of Uno Mas’s go-to tacos. The carnitas had smoked duroc pork shoulder, orange, radish, poblanos, roasted tomatillo salsa, and cotija cheese.

The barbacoa had smoked then slow-braised brisket, crispy potato, poblanos, roasted tomatillo salsa, and asadero cheese. The barbacoa and carnitas were by far the best, though the barbacoa in particular was really delicious. Andrew ordered a barbacoa, a carnitas, and a smoked chicken. And Andrew got a draft Pacifico, which was cheap but tasted like Pacifico.Īlong with the chips and guac, we ordered a whole mess of tacos. So, it’s good, but how good may depend on your preference. Andrew liked it, but not as much as at Comida. She thought it might be the best we’ve had in Denver. Can’t go wrong there, so we put the Passbook away and enjoyed ourselves.Īs with any Mexican dinner, we started with chips and guac and Em got a margarita. We intended to use the Dining Out Passbook, but we ended up there at Happy Hour and on a Tuesday, which meant that drinks were cheaper (because of Happy Hour) and tacos were $3 each (because it was Tuesday). And we finally ended up there last Tuesday - for Taco Tuesday obviously. We are big fans, but we didn’t want to jump the gun and write about it without pictures.
